The beginning of this Renoise jam involves of a series of patterns (stored for convenience at the end of the purple instance) playing out and eventually looping for 8 the last bars. While this happens there is jamming overtop with drums in the green instance. For the purpose of having more variety of drum sounds, different drum ‘kits’ have been assigned to different tracks. The top row of the grid on the controller is midi assigned to mute/unmute the tracks and so it’s easy to seemlessly switch between these drum kits and make the percussion more dynamic.

The song in the blue instance plays out and ends in some rhythmic noise pulses. This connects with the next song in the purple instance which starts with low-pass filtered thumping kicks at the same bpm (listen at 5:22).
